Happy Birthday, Linc!!

Last Sunday we had a birthday party for yours truly up at my parent's house in Park City- uh, so fun. We sent out a few messages on Saturday night, and couldn't believe how good of friends we had to drive 45 minutes just for dinner with the Stephens. Or maybe that's just it.. starving college kids.. dinner.. Dad's famous cooking. Ha! It was fun to have 
-old friends there from high-school and their wives/girlfriends to 
-mission companions to our  
-newest of friends (our neighbor friends!!).

and WHO could forget LINCOLN's birthday?! 

(it was Wednesday.. BTW..) so we invited a few friends to help honor the day...

which included lots of Abraham Lincoln quotes. if you have a favorite quote, chances are Lincoln said it. He has some AMAZING quotes. (yo- don't judge my collage skills. it's hard. haha)

the Top Hats were my favorite, and went quickly cause they were made out of swiss rolls and chocolate-chocolate oreo knock-offs haha:

So we made cabins out of graham crackers and pretzels and PB and wheat thins and put on beards and girly curls (ahem, Tyson)... and our friend Kira had just finished reading the Lincoln Biography so she shared fun facts.. and we watched the movie Lincoln. Well, tried. It's pretty boring. But it was fun to have talking Lincoln at the party!

And a lil' bit of Valentine's day. Woke up to my man cooking these sweet things! and to tell you how much I love my rose that sweet Tyson gave me this morning, I have taken it everywhere with me. Like to work and kept it in a water bottle vase and took it to lunch. haha! Everyone thinks i'm so CLASSY! but really i'm just so LOVED.

 HE'S SO GREAT AND I LOVE HIM and I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for leading me to him and letting us get married forever! :)
